Marcos Estrada is an Teaching Associate in Sociology at Aston University, and an Early Career Fellow in the Institute for Advanced Study at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom, where he did his PhD in Sociology entitled Everyday Practices of Transnational Living: Making Sense of Brasiguaio Identities. He has a degree in International Relations, and has participated in academic events doing work in more than 20 countries. Amongst his academic interest are migration processes, border practices, transnationalism, identities, qualitative and quantitative (including Big Data) research methods and sociology theory.
